The Model SC Simplex strainer has been providing reliable service for over 75 years. What sets the model 75 apart from the competition is it's thoughtful design. Side Entry Baskets have specialty designed pleated configuration to minimize the pressure drop across the strainer. The pleated design also minimizes the size and weight of the basket, eliminating the need for lifting tackle. Quick-opening cover makes basket access quick and easy, minimizing downtown. Each strainer has a threaded drain plug, enabling you to drain the cavity for inspection. Heavy wall thickness combined with precision machined basket seats formulate a rugged strainer body with a tight sealing basket chamber. These strainers have all the features that you need and are usually available to ship from stock!

The suggested minimum and maximum flow range for each size strainer is included, these numbers are based upon maintaining a fluid velocity within 6 to 10 feet per second.
