Unlike other non-metallic butterfly valves,
these are constructed from a one piece body with fully supported
flanged bolt holes to prevent stressing of the mating pipe
flanges. The solid mounting pad ensures that an actuator
will operate flawlessly, whether it is a manual lever, gear
handwheel or automatic actuator. The blowout proof
stainless steel stem (titanium optional) in conjunction with a
full body liner that has a V Notch retention configuration
ensures a solid seat of the liner to the valve body. An
Integrally molded face seal facilitates positive sealing against
mating flanges without the need for additional gaskets.
With only one o-ring on the disc to seal the valve and the full
body liner, these valves are designed to ensure that the media
never contacts the valve body. These valves are
specifically designed to retrofit into metal pipelines, however
with no metal parts in contact with the fluid, they cannot
corrode or rust, nor will they contaminate the fluid passing
