The EA Series automated true union ball valve offers a low cost method of automating ball valves.  Compared to competing brands that use "throw-away" (non-repairable) actuators, the EA Series is fully serviceable.

 

The all PVC construction of these true union ball valves eliminates rust or corrosion issues.  This ensures that the valve will never stick, jam or fail to operate like a metallic valve might due to corrosion.

The 110 VAC actuator provides an output torque of 140 in-lb and has a built-in automatic resetting thermal overload protector to help prevent motor burnout.  Its' 25% duty cycle motor operates the valve through a permanently lubricated gear train.  This actuator is designed to require no setting or adjusting and is sealed within a NEMA 4X housing.

 

The True Union Ball Valve is rated to 225 PSI at 70°F.  The "True Union" enables you to remove the valve from the system for maintenance without disturbing piping connections.  EPDM seals and seats are standard (PTFE is an option) and designed to be compatible with aggressive fluids.  The full port design ensures maximum flow at a low pressure drop.
