We offer two basic multiple bag filter housing designs, one having a spring assisted cover lift mechanism and the other using an integral hand wheel davit. The spring assisted version is for lower flow rates (3 to 8 bags per vessel) and the "SE" version incorporates an added locking mechanism that enables faster bag access as well as a higher degree of safety. These units can be duplexed together for higher flow rates or for continuous duty applications for which the flow cannot be interrupted for bag changes. Only the simplex units are shown online because the duplexed units require a degree of customization, for instance, there are several types of valves that can be used. MB-HE 360 - 1,440 GPM
The Model MB-HE Multiple Bag Filter Housing has a counter balanced spring assisted cover lifting mechanism balances the cover perfectly giving it a "weightless" feel. Opening and closing the cover is "finger tip" easy. Rapid opening and closing mechanism ensures simple, operator friendly operation with minimal downtime for bag change-outs. Reduces downtime to increase productivity and decrease operating costs.
Unique 3-point hold down for bayonet fitting ensure high quality of the seal between each filter bag and the housing body. A supplied special tool ensures, simple effective operation. Side inlet and bottom outlet provides easy and complete drainage. A standard tangential outlet reduces housing height.

MB-SE 360 - 1,440 GPM
The Model MB-SE Multiple Bag Filter Housing has all the design features of the MB-HE design above, with the addition of a special QIC-Lock mechanism for quicker bag access and added safety.
The QIC-Lock mechanism prevents the cover from being opened until the vessel has been properly vented. Moving the safety interlock handle upwards simultaneously vents the vessel and unlocks the clamp for opening. A threaded spindle mechanism, operated by a hand wheel, opens the clamp so that the cover can be raised with the help of a spring assisted hinge. The entire process takes less than 30 seconds compared to the 10 MINUTES or more it takes to open a vessel with bolted closure. The vessel cannot be re-pressurized until the QIC-LOCK clamp has been fully closed and the safety interlock engaged which closes the vent valve.

The Model MB-HD Multiple Bag Filter Housing is a more traditional multiple bag filter housing design that has the features of the MB-HE but uses a hand wheel davit to lift the cover off the housing. The MB-HD is easy to operate...just loosen the swing bolts, turn the davit hand wheel and swing the cover aside. A hydraulic assisted davit cover is available as an option.
